 Dr. Dorothea von Wichert-Nick is Principal at Solon Management Consulting. Her project work includes M&A support and strategy development for cable operators, telcos, media companies and their investors. Besides her extensive project work for cable operators, Dorothea has co-authored the European Cable Survey 2004, 2005 and 2007.
Prior to Solon, Dorothea spent three years at Deutsche Telekom, where she acted as a group leader within the strategy department. Dorothea holds a diploma in industrial engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt. He PhD thesis has focused on the development of competition in the local telecommunications market.
Solon is the leading consultancy for the European Cable TV industry. Services range from the development and implementation of corporate strategies to M&A transaction support. Clients include Cable operators, telecommunication and media companies, as well as banks and private equity funds.
